A 200mm diameter exhaust metal valve for ceiling-mounted return air or exhaust ventilation points in residential and commercial HVAC systems. The metal valve disc opens under suction from the fan and seals closed when the system is off, preventing back-draughts and conditioned air loss. A clean, low-profile alternative to conventional return air grilles for smaller duct connections.
Suitable for exhaust air applications for isothermal conditions. Capable of handling variable airflow rates at moderately low pressure drops and noise.
Exhaust Metal Valves shall be Air-Grilled Supplies Model VMVE constructed from steel with mounting ring, providing long term strength and rigidity. The airflow passages are smooth ensuring quiet and efficient airflow. The centre cone can be wound up or down to adjust the airflow required to specific conditions and applications. Diffusers shall be a powder coat finish. Diffusers shall be fitted with accessories where required by Air-Grilled Supplies.
